On Thursday evening, Day 10 of the ongoing offensive in Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinians and injured many others, including three women. The Israeli army reported that one soldier was killed by Palestinian fighters during the invasion.

Media sources said many armored military vehicles invaded the refugee camp and exchanged fire with Palestinian resistance fighters before the soldiers occupied a home.

Palestinian resistance groups said the home the soldiers occupied was wired with explosives, and that the fighters managed to lure the soldiers into the booby-trapped house before detonating it.

Eyewitnesses said a military helicopter arrived at the outskirts of the refugee camp and transported the slain soldier and the wounded.

The latest attack in Jenin began after an Israeli war jet fired two missiles at a home in the refugee camp, while many helicopters also hovered in the area.

The Israeli army began the massive invasion and ground offensive in Jenin ten days earlier, killing nineteen Palestinians, wounding dozens, and abducting many others, in addition to bulldozing and causing massive destruction to homes, buildings, and infrastructure.

The Quds News Network reported that the two Palestinians were killed during exchanges of fire with Israeli soldiers in Jenin as the army continued its onslaught on the city and the refugee camp for the tenth day, leading to the deaths of nineteen Palestinians and causing dozens of injuries, in addition to scores of Palestinians who were abducted by the invading soldiers.

The Israeli army also caused massive destruction to many homes, buildings, and infrastructure amidst the ongoing invasion, bulldozing, and bombing.

The Palestinian Health Ministry issued a brief statement confirming the death of the two Palestinians and stating that the army took their corpses.

The slain Palestinians were later identified as Amin Ahmad Abdul-Rahman Abu Hasan, 37, from Jenin refugee camp, and Yazan Hatem Atiya Al-Hasan, 21, from Al-Yamun town, west of Jenin.

In a statement, the Israeli army spokesperson confirmed that Liam Hazi, 20, a Staff Sergeant from Rosh HaAyin, was killed.

The Israeli army also fired missiles at the Jenin refugee camp, wounding three Palestinian women in their fifties, who were abducted by the soldiers and were later handed to Palestinian Red Crescent Society medics at the nearby Al-Jalama military roadblock.

Over the last ten days, the Israeli army has been imposing a tight siege on the Jenin refugee camp and conducting a large-scale offensive, causing a large number of casualties and massive destruction of private and public property, in addition to burning and detonating many homes and buildings.

Also Thursday, Israeli forces executed a Palestinian man after shooting and abducting him in the northern occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced the death of the former prisoner, Qasim Aboud Mutie Al-Aklik, 42, after being informed by the General Authority of Civil Affairs.

On Wednesday morning, the body of a slain Palestinian man was recovered from the rooftop of a building in the center of Jenin city, in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that on Wednesday morning its ambulance crews recovered the body of Osama Omar Abu Al-Haija, 24, from the rooftop of a building in Jenin city.

Also Wednesday, Israeli forces assassinated ten Palestinian young men after occupation warplanes bombed a site in center of the town of Tammun, south of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
