Prisoners for Palestine warned that eight hunger strikers, including Heba Muraisi, face risk of organ failure as the protest enters its third month.

The organization reported that Palestine Action activist Heba Muraisi is on remand for more than a year over Palestine-related activism and she has now reached 64 of hunger strike, the longest-serving hunger striker amongst the group.

Muraisi told Prisoners for Palestine that she has been experiencing muscle spasms and twitches in her arm, and at times feels like she is holding her breath. Last week, another hunger striker, Kamran Ahmed, was hospitalized for the fifth time since beginning his hunger strike.

Palestine Action activist Kamran Ahmed held in UK prison was recently hospitalized for the fifth time after more than 50 days on hunger strike.

Kamran is one of eight pro-Palestine detainees protesting their treatment in prison, has suffered a serious decline in health as the group continues to demand immediate bail, an end to restrictions on their communications, and the removal of Palestine Action from the proscribed list.
