Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man with live ammunition before kidnapping him on Thursday evening, in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Eyewitnesses reported that undercover Israeli agents infiltrated the city in two civilian vehicles with Palestinian license plates, before opening fire on a taxi in the Al-Basatin neighborhood of Nablus city.


The heavily armed soldiers dragged a wounded young man out of the vehicle before forcing him into their vehicle and withdrawing; neither the young man’s identity or condition were known at the time of this report.


In related news, occupation forces invaded, on Thursday afternoon, a number of areas in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah and Al-Bireh.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli soldiers stormed the Al-Masyoun, Ain Munjid, and Umm Al-Sharayet neighborhoods in Al-Bireh city, and the Al-Amari refugee camp.

Occupation forces broke into a commercial shop in the city of Al-Bireh, and a childrens’ toy shop in the town of Birzeit, north of Ramallah.

A number of citizens sustained inhalation injuries as a result of tear gas exposure after the army stormed the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah.
