Israeli occupation forces killed at least seven Palestinians, including two children and one woman, and injured dozens more on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in multiple attacks across the Gaza Strip.

Gaza City – alTuffah neighborhood:

In the al‑Tuffah neighborhood, northeast Gaza City, soldiers opened fire on residents, killing a woman and wounding dozens, several critically.

In Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood, Israeli gunfire killed one man and injured several others.

Khan Younis – alMawasi “Safe Zone”:

Drone strikes hit tents sheltering displaced families in al‑Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, an area previously designated as a humanitarian zone.

Civil defense officials reported five Palestinians killed, including two children aged 8 and 10, and more than 30 wounded, many suffering burns.

Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that the Israeli military carried out four drone-strikes targeting the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, inflicting injuries, adding that Israeli forces continue to demolish buildings in the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City.

WAFA News said the strikes ignited fires in several tents sheltering displaced families in the al‑Mawasi area.

Medical sources at Kuwait Specialized Hospital told WAFA that ambulance crews recovered five burned bodies from the “al‑Najat” camp for displaced people in al‑Mawasi.

Humanitarian Impact:

Families in al‑Mawasi were struck while seeking refuge in what Israel itself designated a “safe zone.”

In al‑Tuffah, ordinary residents were shot in their streets, highlighting the daily insecurity even under truce conditions.

Aid groups warn that continued strikes on shelters and neighborhoods deepen displacement and trauma, while Israel restricts humanitarian access.

Ceasefire Violations:

Since the October 10 ceasefire, Israel has committed over 590 violations, killing at least 366 Palestinians and wounding more than 938. Also, the bodies of 619 bodies were found under rubble across the coastal enclave.

Updated Death Toll:

In the past 24 hours: 8 slain Palestinians were transferred to Gaza hospitals; 7 newly killed and 1 body recovered — alongside 16 injuries.

Medical sources announced Thursday that the overall death toll in Gaza has risen to 70,125 Palestinians, in addition to more than 171,015  injured, the majority women and children, since October 7, 2023. Many victims remain trapped beneath collapsed buildings, unreachable by rescue teams.
