On Wednesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that five Palestinians, including one woman, were killed and at least fifteen others injured in the past 24 hours as Israeli forces continued attacks across the Gaza Strip, despite the declared “ceasefire” framework.
The ministry said the casualties resulted from ongoing shelling, live fire, and widespread home demolitions carried out by Israeli forces in multiple areas of the besieged enclave.

One of the slain Palestinian was identified as Haneen Mohammad Tawfiq Al-Hour, 27, who was shot and killed by an Israeli quadcopter drone on Wednesday evening, in the Nuseirat camp, central Gaza.
Another slain Palestinian, Ibrahim Tayseer Al-Khalidi, was killed in an Israeli strike near Salahuddin Street in the Bureij camp, in central Gaza.
The ministry also confirmed that a young man died early Wednesday from wounds sustained in an Israeli strike two days earlier. Three Palestinians, including a child, were injured by Israeli gunfire in separate areas of the Gaza Strip.
A child suffered critical wounds when Israeli forces opened heavy machine‑gun fire and artillery shells toward the coastal area of al-Mawasi in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Two additional Palestinians were shot and injured—one near Ali Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, and another east of the al‑Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Israeli artillery simultaneously targeted several areas east of Khan Younis, the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City, including Zeitoun, and the eastern edges of Jabalia town in the northern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported intense gunfire accompanying the shelling, along with extensive demolition operations carried out by Israeli forces east of Khan Younis, where multiple homes were blown up.

Residents in Rafah also reported artillery strikes in the northern neighborhoods of the city, while additional shelling hit the eastern areas of Gaza City and the southern and northern regions of the Strip.
The attacks triggered new waves of displacement among families already uprooted multiple times since the start of the war.
UNRWA, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), and the World Health Organization (WHO) all warned this week that the situation in Gaza remains “catastrophic,” with Israeli restrictions on movement, aid delivery, and medical access preventing any meaningful recovery.

UNRWA said that repeated Israeli shelling near shelters and aid distribution points continues to endanger displaced families, while OCHA reported that many areas remain inaccessible due to ongoing military activity and unexploded ordnance.
WHO reiterated that hospitals in central and southern Gaza are operating far beyond capacity, with shortages of fuel, anesthesia, antibiotics, and trauma supplies. The agency said that children account for a significant portion of recent casualties, many suffering from blast injuries, burns, and limb amputations.
Quds News Network on X: Jalal Mohammed Al-Qatsh, just three months old, is battling for his life in Gaza. Born with a rare and severe skin condition, his fragile body is covered in painful blisters and burn-like lesions, compounded by serious blood and lung infections.
Confined to the ICU, he urgently needs specialized treatment that Gaza’s collapsing healthcare system cannot provide. His family is pleading for immediate international intervention and a medical transfer abroad, as every passing moment threatens his survival.
Humanitarian groups also warned that the renewed shelling in Khan Younis and Gaza City threatens the fragile humanitarian corridors that aid agencies rely on to deliver food, water, and medical supplies. UN officials said that any further disruption could push several districts into full famine conditions.
Despite the declared ceasefire framework, Israeli forces continue to carry out attacks across the Gaza Strip, including artillery strikes, live fire, and home demolitions, leaving residents in constant fear of renewed escalation.
The Ministry of Health said that since the ceasefire announcement on October 11, 2025, Israeli attacks have killed 713 Palestinians and wounded 1,940, while 756 bodies have been recovered from destroyed areas.
The cumulative toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,289 killed and 172,040 injured, figures that humanitarian agencies say are likely undercounted due to thousands still missing under rubble or in areas unreachable to rescue teams.
