On Wednesday, day 712 of Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian civilian population of the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces continued their relentless assault on Gaza City and northern Gaza, pounding the densely-populated urban areas with bomb after bomb, killing 17 before dawn.
The 17 killed by Israeli forces include 7 in Gaza City. In addition, many others were injured before dawn on Wednesday, in the ongoing Israeli occupation bombing of the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that three citizens from one family were killed in the occupation’s bombing of a displaced persons tent in the so-called ‘safe area’ of Mawasi, west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
A young boy was killed along with his mother early this morning in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Al-Shati refugee camp, western Gaza City.
A citizen, his pregnant wife, and his daughter were also killed in the occupation’s bombing of a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, while two citizens were killed and others were injured, as a result of the occupation’s bombing of a residential apartment in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
A Palestinian man narrowly escaped death after an Israeli bullet pierced through his displacement tent, striking the exact spot where he usually sleeps:
The BBC documented the unbearable suffering of Palestinians forced to evacuate Gaza City amid Israel’s ground invasion. In another testimony given to BBC, a Palestinian woman said: “I was forced to sell my jewelry to cover the cost of displacement and a tent,” she said. “It took us 10 hours to reach Khan Younis, and we paid 3,500 shekels (£735) for the ride. The line of cars and trucks seemed endless.”
Multiple casualties were reported as Israeli occupation forces opened fire on aid seekers near the US corporate- run GHF aid distribution center in the Al-Shakoush area, on the outskirts of Rafah, southern Gaza.
