Earlier Wednesday, Israeli soldiers conducted widespread invasions across the occupied West Bank, storming homes, damaging property, and abducting numerous Palestinians.
The invasions spanned multiple cities and towns, including Tulkarem, Nablus, Jenin, Bethlehem, Hebron, Tubas, and Ramallah, with reports of aggressive searches, street closures, and physical assaults.
In Tulkarem, in the northwestern West Bank, several military vehicles invaded the city’s eastern neighborhood, where soldiers stormed and ransacked the home of Fares Abed-Rabbu before abducting him.
Additional invasions targeted the Shweika suburb and Bal’a town, leading to the abduction of Ma’adad Jamal Kleibi and Atiya Wael Mahmoud after violent home searches.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, Israeli army jeeps invaded the Sahel area of Orif village and initiated extensive searches. In Beita town, south of the city, soldiers rammed two Palestinian vehicles with military jeeps and detained several young men for interrogation.
In Jenin, also in the northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded the main junction near the central market, closed streets, and fired live rounds.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers installed two military roadblocks at the western entrance to Al-Isawiya town and at the main entrance to the Wad ar-Rababa neighborhood in Silwan town.
The soldiers stopped and searched dozens of vehicles and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, soldiers invaded the Bab Zqaq neighborhood and the ar-Radi Junction, blocking intersections and shutting down the main Jerusalem–Hebron Road.
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, soldiers invaded and ransacked several homes before abducting a young man, Ali Nour Barakat.
Additional invasions targeted homes belonging to the Sweity family in Beit Awwa town, southwest of Hebron.
Military units also installed roadblocks, concrete barriers, and sand mounds on key roads leading into Hebron and its surrounding villages.
In the northeastern West Bank, military jeeps invaded the al-Far’a refugee camp near Tubas and closed several streets.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, soldiers invaded homes in Jifna town and abducted Tayseer Yasser Hattab, 31. In Beitunia, west of Ramallah, troops detonated a storage room inside a residential building.
On Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers assaulted Moath Edrees in southern Hebron. Eyewitnesses said the soldiers first opened fire at the young man before assaulting and abducting him, leaving him with multiple cuts and bruises.
