Israeli forces escalated, on Monday, their demolition operations, destroying several Palestinian-owned homes and various structures in the governorates of Nablus, Ramallah, and Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank.

    Nablus

In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces demolished a vehicle repair shop in the town of Huwarra, south of Nablus.

Media sources reported that occupation forces, stormed Huwarra town, accompanied by a bulldozer, and proceeded to demolish a repair shop, owned by the citizen Salama Hammad.

    Ramallah

Occupation forces demolished two homes and an agricultural shed in the town of Budrus, northwest of Ramallah in the central West Bank.

Media sources reported that the army invaded the town of Budrus, accompanied by a bulldozer, before demolishing the two homes and an agricultural shed belonging to the brothers Nidal and Ahmad Mahmoud Abdel-Khaleq.

The brothers appealed the occupation’s decision, however the authorities carried out the demolition before the court ruling was issued.

The two homes, each 150 square meters in area, provided shelter for 14 citizens, including the two brothers and their families.

    Jerusalem

Northeast of Jerusalem, Israeli forces demolished an agricultural shed and a park, and razed a playground and agricultural lands, uprooting a number of trees, in the town of Mikhmas.

In Hizma town, northeast of Jerusalem, Israeli forces demolished a commercial establishment and injured many citizens.

Media sources reported that the army demolished a car wash and car accessories shop in Hizma town, and fired tear gas canisters at citizens, causing dozens to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

The sources added that the commercial shop, owned by the citizen Mohammad Abu Sabah, was destroyed to make to way for the expansion of a settler-only road.
