Illegal Israeli colonizers and occupation forces, on Monday, prevented Palestinian farmers from accessing their own land in several governorates.
Israeli soldiers and illegal settlers prevented Palestinian farmers from harvesting their olives in the village of Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
Ahmed Eid, the Director of Agriculture in Qalqilia, told the WAFA News Agency that occupation forces, accompanied by a group of colonizers from the nearby “Kedumim” colony, forced Palestinian farmers to leave their land on Monday, preventing them from harvesting their olives.
Meanwhile, Israeli colonizers closed the main Ramallah-Nablus road in the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
Media sources said that armed paramilitary colonizers invaded the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, closed the main Ramallah-Nablus road and displayed their weapons in front of a number of schools in the area.
In the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus, a group of settlers attacked Palestinian farmers while they were harvesting their olives.
Media sources said that the colonizers invaded the Al-Armah area in Aqraba town and forced Palestinians to abandon their land, preventing them from picking olives.
Furthermore, Israeli forces invaded Ni’lin town, west of Ramallah in the central West Bank and detained several Palestinian farmers, while settlers stole citizens’ olive harvest and equipment.
Media sources said that occupation soldiers stormed Ni’lin town, detained a number of Palestinians who were picking olives, and blocked their access to their land.
The sources added that colonizers stole citizens’ olive harvest in addition to farming equipment in the area.
Quds Press reported that armed paramilitary colonizers cut down dozens of olive trees and saplings, belonging to local residents in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, before dawn on Monday.
The same source reported that illegal colonizers attacked a Palestinian-owned home in the village of Umm Safa, north of Ramallah before dawn on Monday.
The ARAB 48 news website reported that the colonizers damaged windows, solar panels, and water tanks belonging to local citizens in Umm Safa, before owners confronted the attacking settlers.
Media sources reported that since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, illegal Israeli colonizers have killed 33 Palestinians in the West Bank and carried out 7,154 attacks against citizens and their property.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, colonizers and soldiers have uprooted or destroyed 48,728 trees, including 37,237 olive trees in the same time frame.
