On Wednesday, the Israeli occupation army continued its invasions and violations targeting various Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank, abducting and assaulting numerous Palestinians, in addition to demolishing structures near Hebron. Israeli colonizers also uprooted Palestinian lands in Jericho.
In Salfit, in the central West Bank, soldiers invaded the town of Kafr ed-Deek, west of the city, and abducted Ayman ed-Deek after physically assaulting him.
The soldiers later released Ayman near Azzoun, east of Qalqilia, before he was transferred to Qalqilia Governmental Hospital with various cuts and bruises.
In Jericho, in the northeastern West Bank, the army abducted Farid As’ad Thafer, 38, and Abdul-Rahman Bassem Abu Amra, 29, after storming and ransacking their homes.
Also in Jericho, Israeli paramilitary colonizers, accompanied by Israeli soldiers, bulldozed fertile agricultural lands owned by residents of Shallal Al-Auja village, north of the city.
The Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights stated that the uprooting affected vast tracts of farmland in a deliberate attempt to impose new facts on the ground, paving the way for land seizure and settlement expansion.
The organization condemned the act as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and part of a systematic policy aimed at dispossessing indigenous communities and forcibly displacing them. It called for urgent international intervention to halt these ongoing violations.
Additionally, the army abducted a Palestinian youth during an invasion of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
Local sources reported that forces abducted Mohammad Al-Sabbah after storming and searching his home on Nablus Street.
In addition, soldiers abducted three young men from Jaba’, south of Jenin, following a military invasion.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said the army stormed the town, invaded several homes, vandalized property, and abducted three individuals, whose identities have yet to be confirmed.
Earlier at dawn, Israeli troops deployed infantry units throughout the town’s streets, broke into homes, and detained multiple residents for field interrogation.
Also at dawn, Israeli troops invaded the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, storming and ransacking multiple homes. A military unit was stationed at Cinema Roundabout in the heart of the city.
The ongoing military offensive against Jenin and its refugee camp, which began on January 21st, has thus far resulted in the killing of 44 Palestinians, the abduction of dozens more, and the destruction of hundreds of homes, leaving thousands of civilians displaced.
In Nablus, also in the northern West Bank, Israeli soldiers stormed and ransacked numerous homes, abducting at least five Palestinians.
Media sources reported that the army invaded multiple neighborhoods in the city and the al-‘Ain refugee camp west of Nablus.
They added that soldiers broke into homes, ransacked their contents, and abducted Sa’id Mohammad Abu Younis and Hamza Mabrouka from the refugee camp, along with Ahmad al-Bahsh from the Northern Mountain area of the city.
Additionally, soldiers invaded the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, and abducted Mohammad Bajes Khattatba and Mohammad Firas Mleihat after searching their homes.
Furthermore, several Israeli military vehicles entered Qalqilia, in the northern West Bank, closing several streets before withdrawing.
In Bethlehem, the army invaded the village of Al-‘Arooj, east of the city, broke into the homes of Sadeq and his brother Ibrahim Suleiman Al-‘Arooj, and ransacked them. The soldiers also invaded Jannetta, Al-Asakra, and Beit Falouh, east of Bethlehem.
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, soldiers abducted ten Palestinians and demolished several structures.
The army invaded Ethna, west of Hebron, and demolished a 150-square-meter home owned by Rezeq Abdullah Al-Batran, along with five shops and a commercial shed owned by Farid Mohammad Al-Batran, Monib Mohammad Al-Batran, Fadi Abu Zalta, Osama Sleimiyya, and Mohammad Issa Awad.
The army also destroyed several mobile homes before assaulting and abducting Awad Farajalla.
Further invasions took place in Hebron city, where soldiers broke into and ransacked the home of Hazem Sharabati and abducted him.
Activist Osama Makhamra reported that forces also invaded Khirbet Umm al-Khair in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, stormed several homes, and abducted Eid al-Hathalin, Adel al-Hathalin, Al-Mu’tasim al-Hathalin, Majed al-Hathalin, Tareq al-Hathalin, Ali al-Hathalin, Ahmad al-Hathalin, and Khalil al-Hathalin.
Additionally, activist Ali Rashid Awad was abducted from his home in Khirbet Tuba village in Masafer Yatta.
Umm al-Khair and nearby communities in Masafer Yatta continue to face persistent attacks from occupation forces and illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, resulting in multiple fatalities and extensive property destruction.
The most recent fatality was teacher Awdah Mohammad Khalil al-Hathaleen, 31, who was shot and killed by an illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizer, in the village of Umm al-Khair in the Masafer Yatta area, Monday.
Osama Makhamra, a local anti-settlement activist told the WAFA News Agency that Israeli colonizers attacked citizens on their own land in the village, and opened fire at them, injuring a young man with live rounds.
Makhamra said that the slain Al-Hathaleen was a married father of three young children and worked as a teacher at the Al-Saray’a Secondary School in the Bedouin desert of Masafer Yatta.
Hathaleen, was a prominent Palestinian activist, known for his contributions to the Oscar-winning documentary, No Other Land, which chronicles assaults by Israeli colonizers and soldiers on the community of Masafer Yatta.
Also on Monday evening, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced that Israeli soldiers executed the young man, Mohammad Samer Suleiman al-Jamal, 27, after shooting him with live ammunition at the northern entrance to Hebron city.
