Illegal Israeli colonizers carried out a series of attacks on Saturday night and Sunday morning, wounding three Palestinians Near Nablus and three others near Salfit, in the northern and central parts of the occupied West Bank.

At midnight Saturday/Sunday, a group of Israeli settlers infiltrated the town of Silat al-Dhahr, southwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

Media sources reported that a group colonizers stormed the town and attempted to set several homes on fire, in addition to assaulting a citizen, causing injury.


Meanwhile, a group of colonizers attacked Palestinian citizens and their property on Sunday morning, after invading the village of Jalud, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

Media sources reported that a number of settlers stormed the village, assaulted three citizens, set fire to the village council headquarters, and burned four vehicles belonging to local Palestinians.


The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews provided treatment to three citizens who suffered injuries as a result of assault, one of whom sustained a severe head wound.

Another group of settlers stormed the nearby village of Qaryout, and attempted to carry out an attack, before local residents confronted them and forced them to retreat.

The Factional Coordination Committee in Nablus Governorate denounced the escalating settlers violations and stated that the silence of the international community enables these attacks to continue.

In a statement the committee declared that “The organized and deliberate attacks carried out by these militias, the destruction of their property, the theft of their money, and the attempts to impose a new settlement and security reality by force of arms, constitute a dangerous escalation aimed at displacing our people and entrenching the criminal apartheid regime. These are war crimes and crimes against humanity committed on Palestinian land in malicious ways and at a continuous pace against the citizens.”

Furthermore, three Palestinian young men were injured after illegal colonizers assaulted them in the town of Bruqin, west of Salfit in the central West Bank.

Media sources reported that a group of colonizers hurled rocks at citizens’ vehicles and attacked three young men while they were travelling near the town of Bruqin.

The injured citizens were treated at the scene and were identified as Thaer Ibrahim Damra, 34, Alaa Hosni Shqeir, 26, and Wadih Hussein Samara, 29.

In related news, several Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian homes and vehicles late Saturday night, in the village of Fandaqumiya, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

WAFA correspondent reported that the colonizers burned and destroyed one citizen’s home and two vehicles, while assaulting a number of local residents who were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Media sources added that the settlers smashed the windows of many homes and set fire to a number of homes and vehicles, while locals attempted to extinguish the fires and fend of the attackers.
