Abu Daoud, a former prisoner who had been deported to the Gaza Strip for years, was killed yesterday, Thursday, in an Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip.

Three Palestinian citizens were injured on Friday in attacks by Israeli paramilitary settlers in Sinjil town, north of Ramallah.

Sinjil Mayor Moataz Tawafsha said that three Palestinian citizens were injured when residents of Sinjil and Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiya repelled a new attack launched by dozens of settlers on Friday evening in the Jabal Al-Batin area in the south.

The Red Crescent Society stated that its crews dealt with two injuries as a result of the settlers’ assault on the Palestinian civilians – one of whom was a 55-year-old man and the other to a young man in his thirties.

Tawafsha added that the residents were able to free a young man whom the Israeli settlers had attempted to kidnap after assaulting him.

Earlier, the settlers attacked the town of Sinjil from a stronghold they had established in the archaeological ruins of Khirbet al-Tall, adjacent to the Al-Batin area.

The attack included assaulting several vehicles, smashing their windows and slashing their tires. One of the vehicles belonged to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, and another to a foreign media organization.

In this context, the residents of the towns of Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiya and Sinjil, along with the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, were able to remove a pastoral colonial outpost that had recently been established on the lands of the region .

Sources in the Wall and Settlement Authority told WAFA that residents and the authority were able to burn and demolish the colonial outpost that the settlers had established west of the town.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education condemned the crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday, which included vandalizing and evacuating the Bedouin al-Kaabneh Mixed Elementary School in the Jericho Education Directorate, displacing residents of the Arab al-Malihat community, and depriving children of their natural and internationally guaranteed right to education.
