On Friday, July 4, Israeli forces continued their daily incursions into Palestinian towns, villages and rural areas, which have been happening every day in the West Bank since the beginning of the second intifada in September 2000, and which have escalated in both scale and intensity since October 7, 2023.

This report does not include the numerous Israeli massacres carried out by the Israeli military in the Gaza Strip on Friday, where Israeli forces killed over 70 Palestinian civilians, many of whom were killed in tent massacres in the so-called ‘safe area’ of al-Mawasi set up by the invading Israeli military.

Settlers attacked an ambulance on Friday evening during their attack on Jabal Qamas, between the towns of Beita and Osarin, south of Nablus.
Local sources told WAFA news agency that Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian citizens in the Jabal Qamas area between the towns of Beita and Osarin, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. The citizens confronted them, leading to clashes during which Israeli soldiers and settlers fired live bullets and tear gas canisters. No injuries were reported.

Local sources told Wafa news that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village with a number of military vehicles and raided a house in the center, without any abductions being reported.

Three Palestinian citizens were injured on Friday in attacks by Israeli paramilitary settlers in Sinjil town, north of Ramallah.
Sinjil Mayor Moataz Tawafsha said that three Palestinian citizens were injured when residents of Sinjil and Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiya repelled a new attack launched by dozens of settlers on Friday evening in the Jabal Al-Batin area in the south.
The Red Crescent Society stated that its crews dealt with two injuries as a result of the settlers’ assault on the Palestinian civilians – one of whom was a 55-year-old man and the other to a young man in his thirties.
Tawafsha added that the residents were able to free a young man whom the Israeli settlers had attempted to kidnap after assaulting him.
Earlier, the settlers attacked the town of Sinjil from a stronghold they had established in the archaeological ruins of Khirbet al-Tall, adjacent to the Al-Batin area.
The attack included assaulting several vehicles, smashing their windows and slashing their tires. One of the vehicles belonged to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, and another to a foreign media organization.
In this context, the residents of the towns of Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiya and Sinjil, along with the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, were able to remove a pastoral colonial outpost that had recently been established on the lands of the region .
Sources in the Wall and Settlement Authority told WAFA that residents and the authority were able to burn and demolish the colonial outpost that the settlers had established west of the town.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education condemned the crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday, which included vandalizing and evacuating the Bedouin al-Kaabneh Mixed Elementary School in the Jericho Education Directorate, displacing residents of the Arab al-Malihat community, and depriving children of their natural and internationally guaranteed right to education.
The Ministry of Education said in a statement that this attack not only targets an educational building, but also threatens the future of our children and their right to a safe education. It also reveals once again the occupation’s systematic policy of undermining the foundations of Palestinian existence, especially in targeted areas threatened with uprooting and displacement.
The Ministry also stressed that this act constitutes a flagrant violation of all international conventions and norms, most notably the agreements on children’s rights, and called on international human rights and humanitarian institutions, as well as United Nations organizations, to assume their legal and humanitarian responsibilities, pressure the occupation authorities to halt their violations, and restore the right of Ka’abneh children to education and a dignified life.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday set up a military checkpoint at the main entrance to the western countryside of Bethlehem.
A local source told Wafa news agency that the occupation forces set up a military checkpoint near the bridge in the Aqabat Hasna area, which is the main entrance to the towns of Battir, Nahalin, Husan, and Wadi Fukin. Israeli soldiers stationed at the checkpoints stopped and searched vehicles and checked citizens’ ID cards, causing a traffic jam in the area.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) abducted a young man and a child from Jenin city on Friday.
The Prisoners’ Society said that Israeli occupation forces abduced Omar Imad Atatreh, a high school student, after raiding and searching his family’s home in the town of Ya’bad in the south of the city.
The occupation forces also abducted the young man, Muhammad Bassam Nassar, during a raid on a residential building in the Al-Basatin neighborhood in the city of Jenin.

In the town of Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah, activist Ayed Ghafri said that Israeli paramilitary settlers destroyed a cucumber field belonging to a Palestinian citizen in the Sahel al-Tall area, south of the town.
