Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of invasions, home break‑ins, abductions, and closures across the occupied West Bank on Thursday, targeting multiple towns, villages, and refugee camps from the northern to the southern regions.
Media sources in Bethlehem said Israeli soldiers invaded the village of Wadi Rahhal, south of the city, broke into the home of the Fawaghra family, and abducted 21‑year‑old Bashar Samir Fawaghra after ransacking the property.
In the northeastern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted 20‑year‑old Mahmoud Mohammad Ghannam from the town of Aqqaba, north of Tubas.
Kamel Bani Odeh, director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society office in Tubas, stated that Ghannam was taken after being summoned for interrogation at the Israeli Salem military base.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, broke into the home of Usaid Mit’eb Najjar, searched it extensively, and abducted him.
In the same governorate, soldiers closed shops in Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, during a military invasion of the town.
Local media activist Mohammad Awad said troops, accompanied by a military bulldozer, installed earth mounds at the main entrance and several internal roads, effectively isolating thousands of residents from surrounding areas.
Israeli forces also abducted a Palestinian shepherd in the “Rujum I’li” area of Masafer Yatta in the southern West Bank, where communities face ongoing displacement pressures.
In occupied Jerusalem, an 18‑year‑old Palestinian was shot and wounded by Israeli forces near the town of ar‑Ram, north of the city.
The Jerusalem Governorate said the young man was struck in the thigh while near the Annexation Wall, and his condition was described as stable.
In the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the village of Doura al‑Qare’, north of Ramallah, where confrontations erupted after soldiers fired live ammunition, sound bombs, and toxic gas at residents.
A young man was shot in the abdomen and evacuated by Palestinian Red Crescent medics to a hospital. Soldiers also installed a military roadblock near the village of Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah, detaining two Palestinian youths for several hours.
Additional invasions were reported in the village of Deir Ammar, west of Ramallah, where troops fired live rounds and sound bombs, though no abductions were reported.
In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, and the Thannaba neighborhood on the eastern side of Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank.
Troops also carried out early‑morning invasions in the city of Tubas in the northeastern West Bank and the nearby town of Tammun, breaking into several homes before withdrawing without reported abductions.
