The sources stated that Mohammad Oweissy, a lieutenant working with the Palestinian Intelligence, was shot while driving his vehicle at the eastern entrance of Qalqilia, and was moved to the UNRWA hospital in the city.
The gunmen, apparently four of them, were in a car when thy opened fire at Oweissy and sped away after carrying their attack which took place in an area located between the Military Coordination Office and Al Sabe’ hothouses, east of Qalqilia.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that Owiess was shot in his abdomen and foot.
