A group of Israeli extremists burnt, on Wednesday at dawn, a Palestinian mosque in the al-Jab’a village, west of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, and wrote racist anti-Arab and anti-Islamic graffiti.Head of the al-Jab’a Village Council No’man Hamdan said Israeli fanatics infiltrated into the village, approximately at 4 at dawn, before breaking into the mosque and setting it ablaze after writing racist graffiti.
A group of Palestinians noticed the fire, and alerted the residents who helped them extinguish the fire.
Hamdan added that the fires caused excessive interior damage to the mosque, its carpets and furniture.
He further stated that, among the graffiti written by the Israeli fanatics, was the infamous “Death to Arabs” that appears practically every time they attack holy sites and property in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem.
Israeli fanatics are responsible for dozens of similar attacks, targeting mosques, churches, graveyards, homes, schools and cars, in addition to frequently cutting and uprooting Palestinian orchards and trees.
It is worth mentioning that Today, February 25, marks the 21st anniversary of the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre, when the American-born Israeli fanatic Baruch Kopel Goldstein stormed the mosque and opened automatic fire on kneeling Muslim worshipers, killing 29 and wounding approximately 150, before the Palestinians managed to kill him.
