A Palestinian farmer died on Thursday after suffering a stroke when he was assaulted by Israeli troops on his way home from his olive grove.According to local sources, the man fainted just after being detained, harassed and assaulted by Israeli soldiers along with his wife, after the two picked olives in their grove.
The man was identified as Riyad dar-Youssef from Al-Janiya village in western Ramallah. He was 46 years old, and a father of seven.
When he suffered the stroke, his wife immediately rushed him to the hospital.
But within minutes of his arrival in the hospital, he was pronounced dead.
