A senior Palestinian security source has denied  reports that PA President Mahmoud Abbas’ motorcade was exposed to shootings during his departure from the Lebanese capital Beirut, today.

According to the PNN, the source said that the news is baseless and  suspicious,  aiming to disrupt a successful visit of President in Lebanon, over the past three days.

The source also said that Abbas had held successful meetings with Palestinian factions leaders and officials on different levels of Palestinian institutions from the refugee camps, along with successful and constructive meetings with Lebanese officials.

The Palestinian Embassy in Lebanon and Lebanese TV channel LBC both denied the reports, saying it did not publish any such news.
