Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli army abducted eight Palestinian civilians from the southern West Bank city of Hebron on Saturday at dawn.

Troops and army jeeps stormed the old city of Hebron and the nearby Yatta village and Al Arup refugee camp. Soldiers searched and ransacked residents' houses and abducted the eight men and took them to an unknown detention camp.

Among those abducted were Rasem Sha'abeen, 27, Mohamed Al Nawaj'a, Saed Dabawi, 17, and Muner Al Jawabra. Also on Saturday, clashes erupted between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian youth in Al Fouar refugee camp south of Hebron, Ishaq Hadeep was abducted during the clashes, no injuries were reported.
