Palestinian top negotiator, Saeb Eriekat, confirmed Friday that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will be meeting Israeli Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert next Sunday.

The meeting with Olmert will deal with humanitarian and economic matters as well as the Palestinian prisoners’ profile, the abducted ministers and the ongoing siege, Ereikat stated.

He also emphasized the need that Israel should lift the ‘repressive’ siege being imposed on the Palestinian people.

Abbas-Olmert meeting is the second in a month after they met on February19, with U.S Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, which produced no concrete results.

This meeting comes head of announcement of the Palestinian national unity government, after most of Palestinian factions have agreed to participate in a power-sharing government that respects previously signed agreements with Israel.

Salah Albardawil, spokesman of the Hamas Parliamentary bloc affirmed the unity government will be made public by next Tuesday.
