Israeli soldiers invaded, on Wednesday at dawn, Nour Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, conducted military searches and arrested four residents.

A local source in the camp reported that soldiers, supported by 10 armored jeeps, invaded the camp at dawn and fired concussion grenades and flares before breaking into dozens of homes and searching them.

The source stated that soldiers arrested Nazeeh abu Harb, 28, Bader Ahmad Balwani, 22, Ali Khoutha, 24, and Sa’ed Younis, 27. Army claims that the five residents are members of the Islamic Jihad.  

Army withdrew from the camp during early morning hours, and installed several roadblocks in the area.

Also on Wednesday, soldiers invaded Tulkarem and its refugee camp and fired rounds of live ammunition at dozens of homes; damage reported, no injuries or arrests.
