On Saturday, Israeli airstrikes and bombardments intensified across the devastated, starved and besieged Gaza Strip on the 61st day since the resumption of the genocide, killing more than 92 Palestinians, and wounding dozens, including children and women.
Update 10:50 pm: At least eighty Palestinians were killed and others injured in the ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn on Saturday, including 34 killed in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
Medical sources also indicated that “approximately 140 killed and wounded remain under the rubble, due to the Israeli occupation army’s deliberate prevention of ambulance and rescue crews from reaching the bombing sites, in a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.”
In the latest raids, Wafa news correspondents reported that brothers Saleh and Duaa Suleiman Baraka were killed, and others were injured, in two raids launched by Israeli occupation aircraft on a residential tower in Hamad City, northwest of Khan Yunis, and on a house in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli warplanes also bombed a tent housing displaced persons in Sanabel camp in Khan Yunis, killing and wounding a number of people who were transferred to the Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital. The bombing also set fire to the displaced persons’ tents.
Earlier, seven civilians were killed, including three in Khan Yunis. One was shot by Israeli drones, and two others were killed in shelling targeting a gathering of civilians. Four others were killed in the Tel al-Zaatar neighborhood of Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip, when a house was bombed.
The occupation forces bombed an aid warehouse in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, killing 10 civilians, including 10-day-old infant Qusay Abu Libdeh, and wounding others. They were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city.
Medical and local sources reported that the occupation forces killed more than 200 citizens, forcibly displaced approximately 300,000 others from the northern Gaza Strip to Gaza City, and completely or partially destroyed nearly 1,000 housing units within 48 hours, as part of the war of extermination being waged against civilians.
On Saturday afternoon, the Israeli occupation forces dropped leaflets on areas in the Gaza Strip, threatening to expand its 20-month-long genocidal war in the Strip and launch a new ground invasion.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been committing genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip, leaving approximately 174,000 citizens dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.

Twenty-two Palestinians were killed and others injured on Saturday in Israeli shelling of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza Strip and Tal al-Zaatar neighborhood in northern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces perpetrated a new massacre in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, when Israeli warplanes bombed an apartment building south of the city, killing nine civilians and wounding others.
Three Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a group of citizens in front of the Abu Salim Mosque in the Al-Hadba area of Deir al-Balah.
Israeli drones bombed the home of the Al-Bahtini family near Al-Awda Hospital in the Tel al-Zaatar neighborhood in the northern Gaza Strip, killing four civilians and wounding others.
The Israeli occupation artillery also bombed a group of citizens near Al-Hawashi Mosque in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City, leading to the killing of five citizens: Hussam Al-Fayoumi, Muhammad Ahmad Al-Banna, Hudhayfah Farwana, Sabry Hamida, and Rami Al-Sousi.
Citizen Wahid Suleiman Abd Abu Aram was killed when the occupation air force bombed a house in the Qizan Abu Rashwan area, south of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Child Shahada Abu Jamea also died of wounds he sustained yesterday in Bani Suhail.

From early Friday, Israeli attacks claimed the lives of at least 115 Palestinians and wounded more than 200, including many children and women across the coastal enclave.
Media sources reported that the Israeli army escalated its bombardment and shelling of Rafah, in Gaza’s southernmost area, the vicinity of the European Hospital, and the northern parts of al-Qarara town in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza. Beit Lahia and Jabalia in northern Gaza were also heavily targeted.
In southern Gaza, an Israeli missile struck an apartment in Hamad City, north of Khan Younis, killing Khalil Fuad Mansour, his wife, Khetam Ahmad Al-Jaabir, and their daughter, Sama.

On Saturday morning, two more civilians were killed, and several others sustained injuries in artillery fire targeting Qaa’ Al-Qarin, south of Khan Younis.
Meanwhile, five civilians, including a female child, a young woman, and a pregnant woman, were wounded when a tent sheltering displaced families near Taybeh Towers, west of the city, was bombed.
Furthermore, an Israeli drone strike killed two Palestinians and injured four others near the Islamic University in the Ma’en area, east of Khan Younis.
Many families were forced to leave their loved ones trapped under the rubble, unable to rescue them due to ongoing bombardments, particularly in al-Qarara and Khuza’a, north of Khan Younis.
Another Palestinian, Rabah Abdul-Majid Al-Amour, was killed when an Israeli drone fired a missile at an area in Al-Fukhari town, east of Khan Younis.
In related news, medical sources confirmed the death of a child, Atwa Abdullah Al-Amour, who had been injured in an Israeli strike on the same area Friday.
Earlier, six civilians were killed, and several others injured when Israeli forces bombed Abu Srour Street in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis.

In the past 24 hours alone, Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 34 Palestinians in Khan Younis. Meanwhile, the systematic destruction of civilian homes continues in Rafah amid escalating military actions.
In northern Gaza, Israeli forces detonated an explosive-laden robot in Tal al-Za’atar, Jabalia refugee camp, killing three Palestinians and leaving others missing under the rubble after targeting the home of the Abu ‘Awn family.

Two Palestinians were killed in Abu Maher Halas Square in Shuja’iyya, east of Gaza City, as they attempted to flee their home. Medics and rescue teams could not reach them due to ongoing bombardments and massive destruction.
In the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, emergency workers retrieved the remains of three Palestinians buried beneath the rubble of bombarded homes.
In central Gaza, an Israeli helicopter attacked a tent sheltering displaced civilians near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, injuring several individuals.
Additionally, an Israeli drone strike killed Ashraf Al-Ramahi in Abu Al-Ojein, east of Deir al-Balah.
Several more Palestinians were injured when Israeli forces struck a tent housing a displaced family near Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
The Israeli occupation army stated in a press release that, in the past day, it has launched extensive strikes and deployed additional forces to seize areas in Gaza.
This marks the initial stages of Operation “Gideon Chariots”, aimed at expanding military offensives in the region and achieving what the army describes as “all war objectives, including securing the release of hostages and defeating Hamas.”
It is worth mentioning that hospitals in Gaza have lost more than 60% of their medications and around 80% of essential medical supplies, further deepening the humanitarian crisis.
Meanwhile, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has warned of ethnic cleansing being carried out by the Israeli occupation in Gaza.

Leaders of seven European countries have urged Israel to ensure the unobstructed distribution of aid, stressing that the international community cannot remain silent in the face of the unfolding catastrophe.
On the military front, senior Israeli officers have acknowledged that no additional military achievements can be made in Gaza, warning that failure to reach an agreement will lead to Israel’s isolation on the international stage, Al-Jazeera has reported.
Since the resumption of the genocide on March 18, Israeli forces have killed at least 2,876 Palestinians and injured more than 7,957, mostly children and women, across the Gaza Strip.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed at least 53,119 Palestinians, including 18,000 children, 12,400 women, and 243 journalists, while injuring more than 120,214, mostly children and women, across the war-torn Gaza Strip.
