Israeli forces, protecting illegal colonizers, shot four Palestinian citizens and injured others, on Sunday, in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that a group of colonizers stormed Al-Mughayyir village on Sunday evening, accompanied by occupation soldiers.
Colonizers attacked citizens’ vehicles and attempted to storm the home of the citizen, Shaaban Abu Aliya, among others, before residents confronted them.
Occupation forces, providing protection for the invading settlers, opened fire with live rounds, rubber-coated steel rounds, and tear gas canisters, resulting in several injuries.
At least four citizens sustained injuries from live ammunition, several others suffered inhalation injuries, and some were shot with rubber-coated steel rounds.
Among those shot with live rounds, two citizens were shot in the legs, one was shot in the chest, and one was shot in the abdomen; they were transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, a group of illegal colonizers stormed the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, on Sunday evening.
Sources reported that occupation forces closed the entrance to the village, while several colonizers spread out at the village’s entrance and the surrounding area.
Furthermore, a group of illegal colonizers vandalized a citizen’s home on Sunday evening, after storming the Al-Dhahra area of Beita town, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
On Sunday morning, hundreds of Israeli colonizers stormed the town of Awarta, south of Nablus, under the protection of occupation forces.
Hundreds of illegal colonizers stormed Islamic religious sites and performed Talmudic rituals, while soldiers closed the Deir Sharaf and Awarta military roadblocks, to facilitate the incursion.
