Israeli occupation forces invaded towns and cities across the occupied West Bank before dawn on Saturday, breaking into homes, assaulting and detaining Palestinians, and firing live rounds and gas bombs. Illegal Israeli colonizers also attacked Palestinian communities and damaged essential infrastructure.
In the Ramallah governorate, in the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Al-Mughayyir and Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah. Soldiers broke into homes in Al-Mughayyir and assaulted several young men.
Colonizers later invaded the Shuab al-Louz area of Al-Mughayyir and fired live rounds toward homes; no injuries were reported.
Village council member Marzouq Abu Naim said soldiers invaded the home of Haj Abu Ata for the second time within hours, searched it, occupied its roof, detained and interrogated the family, and also broke into and searched the home of Rasmi Abu Alia.
In the Nablus governorate, in the northern West Bank, soldiers invaded the Al-Koroum area of Aqraba, southeast of Nablus, while a foot patrol entered Jerusalem Street in the eastern part of the city. Soldiers also fired live rounds at a vehicle near the Huwwara military roadblock, south of Nablus.
In Khirbet Al-Marajim, south of Nablus, paramilitary Israeli colonizers surrounded a Palestinian home and attempted to break into it.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded student housing at the Arab American University and abducted a Palestinian after breaking into accommodations used by families displaced from the Jenin refugee camp near the campus.
Soldiers also invaded Arraba and nearby Fahma, southwest of Jenin, and broke into homes and searched them.
In the Qalqilia governorate, in the northwestern West Bank, soldiers invaded Azzun, Kafr Thulth, and Qalqilia city, breaking into several homes in Kafr Thulth.
In Tulkarem, in northwestern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Deir Al-Ghusun town, north of the city, and abducted a former political prisoner, Ibrahim Ala’ Omar, after storming his homes and searching it.
Also, Israeli forces installed a military roadblock beneath the Jabara Bridge at the southern entrance to Tulkarem. Local sources said the soldiers stopped and searched vehicles leaving the city, obstructing traffic.
Earlier at dawn, the army had completely closed the iron gates beneath the bridge for several hours before reopening them.
The restrictions come amid intensified military measures at the entrances to Tulkarem and its towns, which have endured the ongoing Israeli offensive for 601 consecutive days, severely disrupting the movement of Palestinians and vehicles.
In the Tubas governorate, in the northeastern West Bank, Israeli colonizers released their livestock onto Palestinian-owned land in the Aqqaba area, east of Tayasir.
In the Salfit governorate, in the central West Bank, soldiers invaded Deir Ballout, broke into and searched several homes, and detained brothers Abdullah and Mahfouth Saher Khair for several hours before releasing them.
Israeli forces also invaded Jericho, in the northeastern West Bank, and advanced toward the Ein Al-Sultan refugee camp.
In the Hebron governorate, in the southern West Bank, soldiers installed a military roadblock near an olive press in the Sanjar area of Dura.
In the Ad-Duqaiqah community, in the Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron, colonizers cut the village’s main water pipeline under the protection of Israeli forces.
Anti-colonization activist Osama Makhamra said the pipeline, located near the village entrance along the main road, supplies approximately 700 Palestinians with water for basic needs. He described the damage as part of ongoing attacks on Palestinian villages and Bedouin communities in Masafer Yatta.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces invaded Kafr Aqab, north of the city. Fires also broke out after soldiers fired gas bombs toward Jabal Al-Masharef in Al-Isawiya, northeast of Jerusalem.
