A group of settlers attacked on Monday at down the house and the villagers of Qowsen, Beit Imren and Borka to the south of the West Bank city of Nablus.

Fadil Al-Sholi, director of the villages’ affairs in Nablus governorate, remarked that settlers attacked the village of Qowsen late last night and hurled rocks at the residents’ houses.  He added that other groups of settlers attacked houses and attempted to occupy houses in the village of Borka and Beit Imren.

Al-Sholi added that settlers also threatened to attack the villages of Orief and Awarta near Nablus, and he also cautioned the Palestinian residents that settlers oppposing the disengagement plan, might attack Palestinians, in retaliation to the evacuationm of settlements in the Gaza Strip and northern West Bank.
