Israeli drone strikes and continuous bombardment across Gaza City, the northern districts, and the central and southern areas of the Strip killed several Palestinians and left many others wounded on Wednesday, as Israeli aircraft continued daily attacks on civilian neighborhoods during the ongoing genocide.
Medical teams confirmed that two Palestinians were killed and four others, including infants and children, were wounded when an Israeli drone fired a missile at a group of civilians near Dar al‑Arqam School in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest Gaza City. The strike occurred shortly after midday and left several of the wounded in critical condition.
A separate Israeli strike near Gaza Municipality Park killed Mohammad Naim Jundiya and injured another man. Witnesses said an Israeli aircraft fired a single missile at civilians gathered near the park. Jundiya was transported to hospital with severe injuries and later pronounced dead.
Local reporters noted that Israeli aircraft have been carrying out targeted killings on a near‑daily basis across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip.
Three more Palestinians were killed in a drone strike near the al‑Hilu station at the northern entrance of Gaza City. Local sources said the drone targeted a group of civilians standing near the station, causing immediate fatalities.

In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost area, medical officials reported the death of Hisham Khaled Hammad, who succumbed to wounds sustained during Israeli attacks last year.
Throughout the day, Israeli forces carried out additional bombardment and gunfire in several districts. In the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, reporters documented Israeli gunfire and drone strikes that caused multiple injuries from sniper fire and shrapnel. In the Tuffah district, residents reported sustained drone activity and intermittent shelling that forced families to flee several residential blocks.
In northern Gaza, Israeli drones fired on agricultural land east of Jabalia, injuring several farmers working in the fields. Civil defense crews said they were unable to reach all the wounded due to continued drone surveillance and repeated missile fire in the same area.
In central Gaza, Israeli helicopters opened fire near the Bureij refugee camp, injuring residents attempting to move between shelters. Witnesses said the helicopter gunfire struck a cluster of homes near the eastern edge of the camp, prompting a new wave of displacement.
Israeli Naval forces also fired on the coastline west of Khan Younis, injuring several fishermen and damaging multiple small boats. Medical teams reported deep shrapnel wounds among the injured.
In Deir al‑Balah, in central Gaza, Israeli artillery targeted the eastern neighborhoods, injuring residents and damaging several homes. Ambulance crews said they were delayed in reaching the wounded due to repeated shelling of the same streets.

Meanwhile, the so‑called “Gaza Peace Council,” formed by the United States earlier this year, issued a statement declaring that “UNRWA has no place in the new Gaza,” claiming it seeks to end what it described as “continuous dependence on aid.”
The council published a video clip featuring remarks delivered by US representative to the United Nations Jeff Bartos, who told member states that the Security Council had supported the creation of the council and a national committee to administer Gaza.
Bartos said states now faced a choice between what he called “funding incitement, terrorism, and stagnation, or funding the Peace Council,” and claimed that supporting the council would provide Gaza’s population with “a path toward peace, prosperity, and lasting change.”

UNRWA was established in 1949 under UN General Assembly Resolution 302 following the Nakba, with a mandate to protect and assist Palestinian refugees. It began operations in 1950 and remains central to providing education, healthcare, social services, and shelter to millions of Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that eight Palestinians were killed and twenty‑six injured in the past twenty‑four hours. Many victims remain under rubble or in areas inaccessible to civil defense teams due to ongoing Israeli fire.
Since the “ceasefire” announced on 11 October 2025, the cumulative toll has reached 1,053 killed, 3,406 injured, and 786 bodies recovered.
Since the start of the Israeli genocide on 7 October 2023, the total documented casualties have risen to 73,066 killed and 173,514 injured.
