Israeli soldiers shot, Monday, two Palestinians, and caused several others to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation, during protests in Bab az-Zawiya area, in the center of Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot one Palestinian with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the eye, and another with a similar round that struck him in the back.
They added that the two Palestinians were rushed to Hebron governmental hospital. The medics also provided many residents with the needed treatment for the effects of teargas inhalation.
In addition, one Israeli soldier was injured when a Palestinian protester hurled a Molotov cocktail at him, striking him in the upper part of his body.
The Israeli army said the soldier sustained minor wounds and received the needed treatment by military medics. The soldiers withdrew from the area of the protest after the incident.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted two children, identified as Zeid Ghorab and Islam Tawil from Bab ar-Rahma mosque, in Al-Aqsa.
