Israeli soldiers arrested five brothers on Wednesday at dawn, in the West Bank city of Hebron, and invaded the neighboring villages of Beit Kahil, Al Shiokh, Al Sammoa’ and Beit Awwa.
A Palestinian security source reported that Israeli soldiers invaded Jabal Johar area, in the south of Hebron, broke into homes there and arrested five brothers.
Khaled Rajabi, the cousin of the five brothers, reported that soldiers surrounded the home of his uncle, Nabil Rajabi, and arrested his five sons after breaking into his home and searching it.
The arrested brothers were identified as Arafat, 26, Bashar, 23, Raja’ey, 20, Nasser 18, and Jobran, 17 years old.
The five brothers were transferred to an Israeli police station, in Keryat Arba’ settlement, in Hebron. Soldiers released Jobran, Nasser and Raja’ey on Wednesday morning.
Also, soldiers invaded Beit Awwa village, near Hebron, broke into the home of Fayez Mohammad Salhab, and used it as a military post and a monitoring tower, after installing military equipment of its rooftop.
Dozens of homes were searched in the villages of Beit Kahil, Al Shiokh and Al Sammoa’, near Hebron, a Palestinian security source reported.
Soldiers interrogated the several residents and took pictures of their homes and rooms after breaking into them, and handed several residents, especially the youth, military orders to head for a military camp for interrogation.
