Israeli soldiers, on Wednesday, dismantled several Palestinian-owned tents and other structures in Masafer Yatta, southern Hebron hills, according to two local officials.

Coordinator of the Anti-Wall & Settlement Committees, Rateb al-Jabour, told Palestinian WAFA News Agency that Israeli forces accompanied a bulldozer to Khirbet al-Mafqara community, and proceeded to knock down a tin-and-brick house and a tent, under the pretext of being erected without a permit.

Jabour added that the owner, identified as Ahamd Hamamra, along with his family are now without a home, due to the discriminatory Israeli policies against the Palestinian population.

Coordinator of the local Protection Committees, Fuad al-‘Amur, said that troops also dismantled three tin-sheet structures in al-Marekz community, as well as a tent in al-Fakhit community.

Al-‘Amur added that Israeli soldiers also stormed Maghayer al-Abeed community and destroyed another tin-sheet structure.

The President of the Municipal Assembly of Masafer Yatta, Nidal Younes, told Quds News Network that the tents were owned by the Hamamdeh, Makhamreh, and Omour families, all of whom have been left homeless.

Worth mentioning that Israeli forces, on Tuesday, delivered a demolition order for Palestinian-owned home in Deir al-Asal al-Foqa village, near Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, the owner stated.

Owner of the under construction home, Sadam al-Shwamreh, told Palestinian WAFA News Agency that Israeli soldiers handed him a notice for the demolition of his 120-square-meter house.
