Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Al-Kidweh warned on Monday against turning the Gaza Strip into a big open-air prison soon, if the hanging problems were not over come.

Al-Kidweh told a press conference during his visit to South Korea, ‘there are many problems in Gaza Strip that need to be solved, or else it will become a big prison,’ referring to the tight closure, the Gaza Strip is under.

The foreign Minister met with some Korean officials including his counterpart Kay Mon.  Mon said the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip is a positive step but it should be followed by handing over control to the Palestinian Authority.

He said :” no change happened  in the legal situation in Gaza Strip” adding  that Israel continues to control water supplies and  crossing points. ÂÂ
