The Israeli occupation authorities in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, Friday, ordered a halt to construction works of two Palestinian-owned homes in the Al-Khader village, south of Bethlehem city.

Director for the Palestinian Committee Against Israel’s Apartheid Wall and Illegal Settlement Activities, Hasan Breijiyya, confirmed that the two homes are owned by Palestinian civilians, Nader Salah and Mohammad Salah, along with their family members.

Breijiyya stated that Israeli troops invaded the Al-Khader village and prevented three cement mixers and a cement pumping vehicle, from delivering cement to the under-construction home of Mohammad Salah.

The two homes are located in the Om Rokba neighborhood of Al-Khader village, which has recently seen an increase in the demolition of Palestinian homes as well as blocking the construction of homes.

Palestinian WAFA News Agency reported that the pretext used for the stop construction order, was the lack of Israeli authorities’ permission to build in the area.
