Israeli soldiers arrested, on Sunday five, Palestinian residents in the West Bank city of Hebron and the nearby village of Surif.

The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that soldiers arrested a 15-year-old girl at the entrance of the Ibrahimi mosque in the Old City of Hebron; soldiers claimed uncovering a knife with the girl.

An Israeli security source claimed that the girl admitted during interrogation that she intended to stab an Israeli soldier at the entrance of the mosque.

Also, soldiers arrested overnight Shadi Abu Hamid, after a military patrol stopped him near Bab Al Zawiya are, in the center of Hebron.

In Surif village, North West of Hebron, soldiers arrested two residents after invading the village and conducting military searches of homes.

The two residents were identified as Salama Mohammad Ghneimat, 38, and Mohannad Al Hour, 24. Ghneimat is a member of the Palestinian Security forces.

The Hebron Office of the Palestinian Prisoners Society reported, on Sunday, that soldiers arrested a third resident in Surif during the military searches. The resident was identified as Moneer Mahmoud Abu Fara, 25 years old.
