Senior Likud member, Moshe Feiglin, who is known of his wide support for settlement activities in the occupied territories, said on Wednesday, that he intends to run for Likud chairmanship.
Feiglin declared his intensions and attempted to address the wider Jewish public in Israel, and not only the religious sector, which he claims representing them.
Also, Feiglin presented his “socio-economic political program” concentrating on the necessity of teaching the Jewish tradition in schools, and imposing the Israeli law over the Palestinian territories claiming that all of the area is the land of Israel, which indicates an indirect voidance to a future Palestinian state in his policies.
He expressed disapproval to the decisions of the Israeli High Court of Justice, and said that he will work in order to have the Israelis elect a new high court “which represents the Israeli people and values”.
Apparently, Feiglin was referring to the recent rulings issued by the High Court regarding illegal settlement outposts in the West Bank.
