A Palestinian medical source in Gaza reported, on Saturday at night, that a resident of the Jabalia refugee camp, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip died of wounds sustained after the army targeted, on Thursday, members of the Al Aqsa Brigades, the military wing of Fateh.
The resident, identified as Khader Rayyan, suffered serious injuries in his head after the army fired missiles at the fighters.
Rayyan was injured when an Israeli drone fired a missile at three fighters who were present in an agricultural area; two fighters were killed immediately, several residents were injured, some seriously.
The two fighters who were killed in the attack were identified as Eyad Al Najjar, 21, and Eyad Qondos, 27;
The Al Aqsa Brigades vowed a “fierce and painful” retaliation.
The brigades released a statement, after Rayyan was pronounced dead, and vowed retaliation, adding that “it bombers are ready to detonate the explosives strapped on their waists, any time, anywhere”.
“Our retaliation will be inside Israel”, the brigades added.
