The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that soldiers forced several residents of Ein Al Baida village, in the northern plains of the West Bank, out of their homes, and expelled them from the area after claiming that they aren’t official residents.

Residents of the village, 20 kilometres away from the east of Tubas in the West Bank, said that soldiers invaded the village on Saturday at night, and forced twenty residents out of the village after taking away their identity cards from them.

The twenty residents were taken to an area behind Tiaseer checkpoint, east of Tubas.

The expelled residents used to work as farmers in the village; they come from other West Bank areas which gives them the right to live anywhere in the West Bank.

Last summer, soldiers expelled twenty farmers from the same area after claiming that they are residents.
