The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, fourteen Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank, after the army broke into and ransacked dozens of homes.
The PPS office in Tulkarem, in northern West Bank, said the soldiers abducted Mohammad Wasfi Jallad, 54, and Abdul-Fattah Azem Qaddoumi, 52, from their homes in the city.
The soldiers also abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Othman Ahmad Bani Odah, from Tubas in northeastern West Bank, only two days after abducting his brother.
The PPS added that the soldiers also invaded homes in Tulkarem refugee camp, east of the city, and abducted Hotheifa Qassem Abu Saris.
The Jenin office of the PPS, in northern West Bank, said dozens of soldiers invaded Qabatia town, south of Jenin city, searched many homes before abducting Amir Amer Zakarna, his brother, Mohammad, in addition to Mohammad Mahmoud Abu ar-Rob.
It added that the soldiers also abducted Mohammad Ahmad Halajia, from his home in Jenin refugee camp, in addition to Abdul-Rahma Has Sobeh, from his home in Burqin town, west of Jenin.
In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers searched many homes in the city and several surrounding villages, before abducting Khalil Fawadla, Thaher Radi, Amro B’eirat, Mohammad Zahran, and Montaser Qadah.
In Anata town, east of occupied East Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Nour Mahmoud Salama, from his home after they invaded and violently searched it.
Furthermore, dozens of soldiers invaded Beit Ummar town, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, before storming homes and violently searching them causing excessive damage.
The soldiers caused the most damage to the family home of the late Khalil Abdul-Fattah Saba’na, after ransacking the property while violently searching it and its surrounding areas, and summoned his son, a former political prisoner, identified as Ayham Khalil Sabarna, for interrogation in Etzion military base and security center, north of Hebron.
In addition, the soldiers searched large areas of Palestinian farmlands in the town, and installed roadblocks.
