Salah Ed Deen Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees, and Nabeel Mas’oud Brigades, which belongs to the Al Aqsa brigades, fired two homemade shells at Nativ Hash’ara settlement, east of the Gaza Strip.

The two factions said that the firing of the homemade shells comes in retaliation to the death of a Palestinian child, who was killed by Israel military fire in Gaza on Thursday evening.

The 12-year old child, Aya Mohammad Al Astal, lost her way while walking back home, suffered at least two live round fired at her by Israeli soldiers who claimed that they suspected that she "was a figure carrying an object near a settlement road".
