Members of the Fateh movement and its armed resistance group, Al Aqsa Brigades, demonstrated late on Thursday night Gaza City demanding the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to resign after the defeat of the movement in the legislative elections.
The protestors also demanded the resignation of the Fateh Central Committee.
Fateh won 43 seats of the legislative council, while the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, won 76 out of 132 seats on Wednesday’s Palestinian Legislative Council elections.
