The Salem Israeli military court sentenced on Monday one member of the Al Aqsa Brigades, the military wing of Fateh movement, to 17 years imprisonment.
Detainee Shareef Suleiman Raddad, 23, from Saida village, near the West Bank city of Tulkarem, was arrested on January 1, 2005. He is currently imprisoned in Gilboa’ detention facility.
The prosecution claimed that Raddad also planned several shooting attacks against Israeli targets. State attorney demanded that court to sentence Raddad to 28 years, but the period was reduced to 17 years as part of a plea bargain.
