Friday evening, a Palestinian security source in the Gaza Strip reported that an Israeli apache fired one missile at a Palestinian vehicle carrying fighters in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.The fighters managed to escape unharmed after the missile missed its target and detonated in an open area.

Several Palestinian resistance groups vowed to retaliate to the continuous Israeli attacks and violations.

In a separate incident, Israeli artillery fired several shells at areas along the northern and eastern borders of the Gaza Strip.

Earlier on Friday, Israeli soldiers fired at least 15 shells at Palestinian areas in the Gaza Strip.

The shelling and assassination attempts were carried out after fighters of the Al Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad fired three shells at an area in Al Majdal, south of Israel; one Israeli was injured.

The Brigades reported that it fired the shells in retaliation to the latest assassinations and repeated invasions in the West Bank.
