The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday at dawn, at least seventeen Palestinians from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank, including the occupied capital, Jerusalem.

The PPS said the soldiers invaded and ransacked many homes in Jerusalem, and abducted seven Palestinians identified as Abdullah Hashlamoun, Abdul-Rahman Abu Assab, Mohammad Abu Assab, Adam Sob Laban, and Riyad al-Ghazzawi, from the Old City, in addition to former political prisoner Mohammad Younes Siyam from the al-Thouri neighborhood, and Mahdi Salama from Shu’fat refugee camp.

In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Fahed Hani Zaatari, Moayyad Sami Sharabi, in addition to Jawad Ayyoub Abu Sbeih, 48, an academic and a lecturer at the al-Quds Open University, in addition to his son, university student Tareq, 26.

In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers abducted two former political prisoners, identified as Rami Fadayel from the at-Tira neighborhood in the city, and Ashraf Abu Arram from Birzeit town, in addition to Majd Ramahi and Ata Sharaka, from the al-Jalazonerefugee camp, northeast of Ramallah.

The soldiers also invaded the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem city, and abducted two wounded teenage boys identified as Khaled Mohammad Ghneim, 17, and Mohammad Rami Salah, 16.
