A Palestinian child, Naji Akram Masri, (17) has been seriously injured by splinters from Israeli artillery rockets, which hit him in the stomach.
Dr. Moawiyeh Hasanain, Director-General of Emergency and First Aid said that Masri is in the operations room and will undergo multiple surgery in the Kamal Adwan hospital. His condition is critical.
Eyewitnesses said that Israeli artillery fired three rockets at Beit Hanoun, in the north of the Gaza Strip. One rocket landed in the Agriculture College and injured the boy.
