Palestinian security sources reported on Monday that one homemade shell fired by Palestinian fighters at an area in southern Israel hit a Palestinian house in Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Eyewitnesses reported that that the shell hit the Palestinian house shortly after it was fired at the Israeli Negev town of Sderot;  damage to the house was reported, no injuries.

Homemade shells fired by resistance fighters repeatedly hit Palestinian houses and properties causing casualties and damage to the properties.  
 
Israeli artillery responds to the homemade shells by firing heavy artillery at Palestinian residential area close to the borders with Israel.
