Medical sources said three Palestinians were killed and several others were injured on Friday in an Israeli bombing of Khan Younis, as the army continued “ceasefire” violations across the devastated and besieged Gaza Strip.
Medical sources said three members of the Abdeen family were killed in an Israeli strike on the al-Qarara area north of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. The victims were identified as Lafi Fayez Lafi Abdeen, 42; Taysir Fayez Lafi Abdeen, 28; and Abdul-Hamid Mohammad Abdeen, 42.
Local sources said the Abdeen family members were farmers working on their land when the army targeted them.
Israeli artillery shelled areas south of Khan Younis, while Israeli naval vessels opened fire off the city’s coast. Israeli forces positioned east of Khan Younis also shelled Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Furthermore, Israeli artillery strikes targeted areas northeast of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
In Gaza City, Israeli tanks intensified shelling in the Tuffah neighborhood east of the city. At the same time, Israeli naval vessels targeted northwestern areas of Gaza City and adjacent coastal waters.
Local sources reported that Israeli military vehicles surrounded a family on Totah Street, southeast of the Zeitoun neighborhood in southern Gaza City, amid heavy gunfire and land-clearing operations carried out by military bulldozers.
In northern Gaza, Israel artillery shells struck areas near Kamal Adwan Hospital, in Beit Lahia, media sources said.
According to data released by Gaza’s Health Ministry, 1,303 Palestinians have been killed, 4,336 have been injured, and 814 bodies have been recovered since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2025.
The ministry said the cumulative toll since the start of the genocide on October 7, 2023, has reached 73,438 Palestinians killed and 174,447 Palestinians injured.
