Israeli occupation forces carried out massive invasions across the occupied West Bank early Thursday, shooting five Palestinians and assaulting residents. Soldiers also broke into homes, abducted dozens of residents, and imposed military roadblocks.
In Qalqilia, in northwestern West Bank, five Palestinians were shot with live fire, while ten others suffered severe effects from tear-gas inhalation when occupation forces invaded the city and fired large quantities of gas.
Medical teams from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said they treated a young man who was shot in the foot before transferring him to a hospital. Another young man with disabilities suffered from tear-gas inhalation and was also taken to the hospital.
Hours earlier, occupation forces had invaded the Qar’an neighborhood shortly after midnight, firing live rounds and gas canisters indiscriminately. Three Palestinians were injured and transferred to Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital.
Occupation forces simultaneously launched a large-scale invasion of Hajja, east of Qalqilia, breaking into numerous homes and abducting at least twenty-three Palestinians.
Media sources identified those abducted as Luay Yousef, Abdullah Assem Masalha, Abdullah Rami Basalat, Kazem Hamad, Karam Hamad, Mohammad Hamad, Rami Basalat, Farouq Basalat, Montaser Basalat, Muhyiddin Basalat, Saad Masalha, and Malik Rab’a.
They also identified Qassam Masalha, Ghaleb Masalha, Qusai Khaled Basalat, Hamza Basalat, Abdul Nasser Masalha, Adham Masalha, Zakaria Masalha, Talal Jamal Rab’a, Jalal Heilan, Yousef Ghanem, and Mo’in Ghanem.
Soldiers also invaded Baqat al-Hatab, east of Qalqilia, before withdrawing without reported abductions or injuries.
In Nablus in the northern West Bank, occupation forces invaded the city at dawn with armored vehicles, entering through the Deir Sharaf military roadblock before surrounding the al‑Ein refugee camp west of the city.
Soldiers broke into and searched several homes, converted one into a military post for field interrogations, and closed surrounding streets, preventing residents from entering or leaving. Medics treated two men, aged sixty and thirty-one, who were assaulted during field interrogations.
Soldiers also abducted several Palestinians, including a young woman and her father from the al‑Maseemi family, and used loudspeakers to order residents of al‑Sikka Street near the camp to evacuate their homes while infantry units spread throughout the area.
In Saida and ‘Illar, north of Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces deployed numerous military vehicles and flew surveillance drones overhead.
Soldiers broke into and searched homes and seized the home of former prisoner Sadeq Odah in Saida. They converted it into a military post after detaining family members and positioning soldiers on the roof.
Several residents, including former prisoners, were abducted and taken to the makeshift military post for field interrogation, where soldiers beat a number of them before releasing them later in the morning.
These invasions occurred amid ongoing Israeli military escalation in the Tulkarem governorate, where invasions, abductions, assaults, and property destruction have continued for 599 consecutive days.
In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Palestinian journalist, Ala’ Hasan Rimawi, from his apartment in the al-Masayef area in the city.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli occupation forces invaded Anata and the Shu’fat refugee camp, breaking into several homes. No injuries or abductions were immediately reported.
Soldiers also invaded Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem, abducting dozens of young men and subjecting them to field interrogations inside the Abu Dis Club. Soldiers seized and vandalized the building during the invasion.
Troops deployed throughout several neighborhoods while carrying out the abductions and interrogations.
In Halhoul, north of Hebron in the southern West Bank, Israeli occupation forces broke into homes, detained residents for hours, and subjected them to field interrogations before releasing them.
