On Thursday, the Israeli army soldiers announced the arrest of two young Palestinian men who allegedly exchanged fire with Israeli soldiers near Aqraba village, southeast of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
The army said the incident occurred Wednesday when the army invaded the area before the soldiers came under Palestinian fire.
The Israeli army said one of the abducted Palestinians was shot by the soldiers, adding that the army has been trying to locate the Palestinians believed to be behind the fire exchange.
On Wednesday, the army surrounded Aqraba before invading it and initiated a massive search campaign, leading to protests.
