Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian teenage boy on Wednesday and injured another in the al-Biereh city, near Ramallah in the central West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers fatally shot Tha’er Khalil a-Yazouri, 16, in Jabal at-Tawil area in the al-Biereh city.
It stated that the child, a student of the al-Hashimiyya School in al-Biereh, was shot with a live round in the heart and added that the soldiers shot another child, 17, with a live round in the leg.
The soldiers also fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at many schoolchildren after several army jeeps invaded the area.
