On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded the archeological area in Sebastia town, northwest of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and forced the Palestinians to leave.
Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the site and the al-Bayader Square in Sebastian, leading to protests.
The sources added that the soldiers fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades at the Palestinians, forcing them to leave.
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers frequently invade Sebastia to accompany groups of colonialist settlers into the archaeological area.
During these invasions, the soldiers block all Palestinian traffic, frequently storm homes, abduct Palestinians, attack protesters, and remove the Palestinian flag from the site.
