Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the “ceasefire agreement” in the devastated Gaza Strip through airstrikes, artillery shelling, and live-fire attacks across several areas of the besieged enclave. The latest attacks wounded a pregnant woman in northern Gaza, killed a Palestinian in Khan Younis, and targeted displaced families sheltering in southern Gaza.
A woman in her sixth month of pregnancy was injured on Wednesday when an Israeli airstrike struck a residential home in the Jabalia an-Nazla area of northern Gaza. Local sources said the house, located on Al-Banna Street behind the Jabalia an-Nazla Center, had previously been damaged in an earlier Israeli bombardment.
In Gaza City, Israeli tanks fired intensively toward eastern neighborhoods where many displaced families are sheltering.

In southern Gaza, Ismail Al-Breem was killed earlier in the day in an Israeli drone strike in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis.
Israeli military vehicles also opened heavy fire east of Hamad City, north of Khan Younis, wounding one Palestinian, while illumination flares were fired south of Khan Younis.
Farther south, Israeli artillery shelled western Rafah, the southernmost area of the Gaza Strip. Israeli forces also opened fire toward tents housing displaced Palestinians in the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah, with bullets reaching the densely populated Fash Farash junction.
The attacks came a day after eight Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in Israeli airstrikes and shelling across the Gaza Strip.
Since the weekend, several Israeli airstrikes have damaged humanitarian facilities run by the UN and partners in #Gaza.

The continuing attacks have prompted renewed international concern. During a United Nations Security Council briefing on Tuesday, senior UN officials warned that the ceasefire remains fragile and that Israeli strikes, shelling, drone attacks, and other military operations continue across Gaza despite the agreement. The UN reported that more than 100 Palestinians were killed and more than 400 wounded during the latest reporting period.
Addressing the Security Council, UN Acting Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Ramiz Alakbarov said Palestinians in Gaza continue to endure “intolerable conditions and immense hardship” while large parts of the territory remain inaccessible or subject to severe restrictions. He stressed that the humanitarian situation remains unacceptable and called for urgent measures to address the needs of civilians.

Separately, UN human rights experts condemned what they described as a sharp escalation of attacks against Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
At a separate Security Council session, humanitarian representatives warned that Gaza is approaching an “absolute breaking point,” with around two million Palestinians still trapped under severe restrictions and living in extremely difficult conditions. Aid officials cautioned that ongoing hostilities and limitations on humanitarian operations continue to place civilians at grave risk.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said the number of Palestinians killed since the “ceasefire” took effect on October 11, 2025, has risen to 1,303, while 4,336 have been injured. The ministry also reported that 814 bodies have been recovered during the same period.
Since the start of the genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, 73,438 Palestinians have been killed and 174,447 wounded. Many victims remain beneath rubble or in devastated areas inaccessible to rescue teams and medics, underscoring the continuing human toll amid international calls for civilian protection and a lasting ceasefire.
