On Friday, Israeli soldiers injured dozens of Palestinians during the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum town, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia.
The Palestinians marched from the center of the town, chanting for liberation, and denouncing the serious escalation and violations by the Israeli soldiers and the colonialist settlers against them, their lands, and their holy sites.
The soldiers attacked them with many rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades, while many youngsters burnt tires and hurled stones at the invading vehicles.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot at least eight Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The Palestinians have been holding weekly processions in Kufur Qaddoum for the last eighteen years, demanding the army to reopen the village’s main road the soldiers blockaded to allow easy access to the illegal colonizers driving to and from Kedumim illegal colony built on stolen Palestinian lands.
