On Wednesday morning, several Israeli military vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded the al-Jawaya area in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, and demolished a home.
Fuad al-Amour, the coordinator of the Protection and Steadfastness Committee, told Palestine TV that the soldiers surrounded and isolated the area before invading it.
He added that the soldiers demolished a home owned by a member of the local Al-Amour family just three months after issuing the demolition order.
The soldiers attacked and forced the Palestinians to leave before commencing the demotion of the home.
Al-Amour said Israel wants to remove the Palestinians from their lands to build a section of the illegal Annexation Wall to isolate it from the Negev, and to continue the construction and expansion of the illegal colonies on the stolen Palestinian lands.”
“This is a colonialist occupation that wants our lands by destroying our homes and trying to force us to leave,” he stated, “This is why they keep isolating and invading the area and demolishing homes; they want to separate it from the Negev too.”
